LAST MEAL ON DEATH ROW
Last Meal on Death Row is a series of images of the last meal choices of seven Death Row prisoners, recreated still life compositions. The images are printed as archival digital transfers onto permanently stretched goatskin parchment. The Artist has muted colours and darkened tones to create sombre depictions in which each meal is devoid of any sense of nourishment or solace. Due to the natural characteristics of the material there will be slight variations in colour and surface texture from copy to copy.
